TANN Swim was launched in 2018, designed and directed by Bárbara Khouri, to create beachwear that celebrates women and the beauty of their complexity. The brand DNA is dreamy, inspiring and delicately surrealist. It allows us to dive in a whimsical dance of past and future, clashing in a complementary way rather than conflicting. Like women's body, passions and personality. 

In this dream, the modern and classic combine, the sophisticated and cool. This is how TANN gives birth to fashion pieces that transcend limitations of the day and age, creating collections that are timeless but never boring. Those collections's personalities are multifaceted, much like the TANN Women, translating perfectly the balance between classic and modern.

It all started back in 2018 with the Tanner Bikini Set. Created with thin lines to allow a delicate sun tan on the skin, it was the pioneer of clean aesthetic swimwear. It surprised by the support it gave the woman wearing it. And then came the intricate one pieces, statement feminine bikini sets, the pure silk cover ups and the feminine take on linen tailoring. All pieces fit the same purpose: Rethink summer fashion giving it the same importance as the rest of a woman's wardrobe.

Beside the visual indulgence and impeccable construction, TANN always care about the durability and quality. Bárbara explains "I understand we haven't yet found an ideal solution that will make swimwear, or even fashion, truly sustainable. No matter where I looked, technologies that could address one matter would rise new concerns. There was always issue. So when I created TANN, I had one certainty: I'd create pieces that would stand the test of time. Both physically and in term of design. I want my pieces to be classic and modern at the same time, in one, five or ten years. That's why, the fabric choice, the fit, the details, every step matters. Every details contributes to us adding to the market a product that carries personality, emotion and still, is eternal. Ethereal and eternal. The TANN women don't get rid of our pieces. They cherish and rewear them summer after summer."
